​Tim Howard

My name is Tim Howard, I have the great fortune to have married my soul-mate Heidi. I have five wonderful and amazing children: Jesika (22), Ryan (21), Skylar (5), Maya(3), and Hailey (2). Heidi and I moved to Boulder, Colorado two years ago because it was the place we wanted to raise our three young girls (where else, when you ask someone “what do you do?” do you get answers like “triathlon”, “mountain biking”, or “running” instead of “banker”, “engineer”, or “accountant”).

 

During the day I am an investment banker, heading up the Healthcare practice for Stonecroft Capital.  I started running marathons at the age of 44 and did my first triathlon in 2009, inspired by my good friend Tim Kehoe.  I will be participating in the Boulder 70.3 and the Arizona Ironman in 2014 (my first Ironman) as part of the Ironman Foundation Newton Running team.  My hope is to continue to show my kids and others that ordinary people, even dear old dad, can do extraordinary things with hard work, the support of their family, friends and teammates, and belief in themselves.
