​Toby Jones

​

Toby is a husband of 22 years to his beautiful wife, Julie, and a dad to a lovely young lady of 17 years, Shea.

Both Julie and Shea are active in sports; Julie in short course triathlons and Shea in competitive soccer.

 

Toby has worked for the Federal Aviation Administration for the last 24 years and is currently in second level management at Phoenix Terminal RADAR Approach Control (TRACON).  His first triathlon was only 2 years ago and he's had a steady, calculated goal of completing several 70.3 races before his first Ironman, IMAZ 2014, in Tempe, AZ.  

 

Toby coaches and mentors 3 other triathletes that he has introduced into the triathlon world over the last year.   He enjoys watching the progression of success on new triathletes and that overwhelming joy of realizing their accomplishment once they cross the finish line!
