​Pam Schuckies

Born and raised in North Carolina, I am a loyal North Carolina Tarheel alum, now living in beautiful Boulder CO.   My work is always something new, helping people instantly and creatively connect and communicate using response technology.  I am proud mom to a beautiful daughter living in Austin and an adverturous son living in New York City.

 

I did not grow up as an athletic kid, but started running in my 20’s, finally learned to swim about 20 years later.  Soon after I  followed in my husband Warren’s footsteps to become a triathlete.   The lessons learned in this sport  have changed my life in so many positive ways.   I first became an IRONMAN in 2002, and have since finished 8 IRONMAN races, including that magical experience of qualifying for and racing the 2010 IRONMAN World Championship in Hawaii.   Fundraising for worthy causes through the IRONMAN Foundation is a privilege, a way to make a difference, and an expression of gratitude for things too often taken for granted.

 

I am thrilled and honored to be returning to this 2014 Team and believe strongly in its powerful mission of service. If you see me somewhere at a race, please be sure to say “hi!
