Ed Shifflett

​

Ed has a PhD in gastrointestinal physiology, and along with his business partner, owns 2 businesses, AlphaBioCom and QSci Communications.  He is a member of the Lock Haven University of PA alumni board of directors, on the board of directors for the Suburban Seahawks Swim Club in Newtown Square, PA, and an active member of the Swarthmore Lions Club.

 

Ed is proud to be a member of the Ironman Foundation-Newton Running Triathlon team and a Brand Champion for Sugoi Performance Apparel.  He has been a triathlete for 14 years and is an advocate for preventing and treating child abuse, as he is a survivor of childhood sexual abuse.

 

Ed lives in Swarthmore, PA with his wife Gretchen and 2 kids, Ella and Gavin.
